The Port of Woodland had its first financial audit for the 2020 year and conducted by the State Auditor’s Office. The financial audit was required as part of the Port’s bonding requirements that was received in 2020. The Port has had multiple accountability audits in the past, but given the number of federal and state grants the Port has been awarded recently, the Port met the threshold for the State’s financial audit requirements. The financial audit provides information to the public regarding all the activities of the Port of Woodland. The Port Commission commended Port Auditor Moore on the exceptional financial audit.
