Port Commission selects and seats Pat Canfield for District 3 Commissioner
The Port of Woodland Commission is once again a three-person body. On June 17, the Port Commission selected Pat Canfield to complete the remaining year until the general election for the seat vacated due to the passing of Paul Cline. Currently, Pat is the only registered candidate for District 3 seat. The Port Commission recognized the other candidates, Ben Thomas Jr. and Mari Ripp, for their dedication to the community and their willingness to submit for the position. Pat was sworn in on July 3 and hit the ground running with a full agenda.
